Who we are

Space particles which in 2013, each at its own pace, reached a common ground – that is, our studio.

We've been “Zmierzloki” for a few years now, and apart from the fact that we like to create tattoos, we also like each other. The studio eclecticism reflects our nature, and although not all can master the Silesian dialect, we open our hearts to everyone. Tattooing challenges don't scare us—we have talent and passion, and we know what we do (and do it well!). Domi will create delicate lines, Maciek will stamp you with black ink, Daria will paint a picture on your skin, and Tomek will sketch. Oliwia will enchant your tattoo with good intentions and help you through Tarot. Joanna will have the balls to make a tattoo that will bring you respect in your 'hood. Daniel will amaze you with his technique of precise lines. Ariadna will take you to the world of gods, beliefs and flowers, and Soya will show you some Japan with her style! And besides the tattoo ~ Sandra will create you a mala, reiki-charged (magical jewellery) or make you a piercing! And you will start this amazing adventure by meeting the sweetest cat – our manager Natu. Aho, and so it is!

How we came into being

The story began in 2013, when Oliwia Daszkiewicz and Mateusz Wojtak opened their studio. But the studio was large, and there were only two of them. The power of attraction (which has been doing well even then) brought new souls into the studio and set up a shared journey. The initial team was small and liked to grumble – hence the name “Zmierzloki” (“Grumblers”) that you often ask us about. “Zmierzlok” in Silesian dialect is the one who whines and grumbles. Having been in the grey walls of Tychy, we joyfully moved to Katowice, pointing our jaws towards new volunteers and being ready to devour their hearts. “Zmierzlok” is no longer a grumbler but an agile heart eater (check out our logo). Ultimately, the team is numerous and cheerful.

In Katowice, we chose Plac Wolności (Liberty Square) because we are free people. By creating our space to allow you to feel all four sides of the world, you will sense the energy of each of us. In the studio, we have several worlds that interconnect and interpenetrate, creating beautiful climate chaos. We do not limit ourselves to anything – in our place, you will find Hindu deities, Buddhist heads, even the virgin Mary and unicorns. Limitations do not apply to us and every moment is different. Try to experience it with us!
